JD.com | Headquarters Building Two Corporate Gallery
Project overview
The Corporate Gallery redefines the conventional exhibition environment at JD.com’s Headquarters Building Two in Beijing through an open, multi-level spatial strategy inspired by the endless continuity of the Mobius strip. Responding to the building’s generous floor-to-floor height, the design transforms the traditional single-level exhibition into a continuous double-layer circulation that encourages exploration while maximizing spatial efficiency. At the heart of the gallery, a sculptural Technology Column, formed by JD.com’s nine Business Group Business Units (BGBUs), serves as both a visual landmark and a central orientation point, connecting visitors across multiple levels while offering a comprehensive view of the company’s ecosystem. The flowing architectural structure dissolves the boundaries of conventional exhibition design, creating a seamless dialogue between space, movement, and content. By balancing spatial functionality with architectural expression, the project establishes an open, contemporary environment where visitors experience JD.com’s technological vision through a journey that is both intuitive and memorable.
